Dear BEFC,
In light of the evolving nature of the current COVID-19 situation, the CROP Team has made recommendations which have been accepted by the Board. These recommendations are aligned with and support the government advisories and heightened alert as we move back to Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) announced on 20 July 2021.
- Church services will continue as per normal unless further changes or directives are advised by MCCY or our government. Entry to church services are strictly by pre-registration via Eventbrite and is limited to 50 pax. There will be no singing and mask on is mandatory.
- This is also in line with the earlier Ministry of Health’s (MOH) statement released on 18 July, 2021, which we quote:
“…we advise unvaccinated individuals, especially the elderly, to stay home as much as possible over the next few days. Unvaccinated individuals, especially the elderly, are advised to stay home as much as possible over the next few weeks and not to attend in-person religious activities during this period… We continue to urge everyone who is eligible in particular the elderly, who are most at risk of developing serious symptoms to get vaccinated as soon as possible” - As per request from our government, for those who are attending in person services, you are strongly advised to have completed the full vaccination regimen in Singapore and have had time to develop sufficient protection (i.e. two weeks after the 2nd dose of the Pfizer or Moderna Covid-19 vaccination only).
- We encourage everyone who is eligible, in particular the elderly, who are most at risk of developing serious symptoms to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

We understand that this is a disappointment for all of us. We stand with you and trust in God’s greater purposes as we ride out this round of restrictions together.
